Review of Field of Dreams (1989) by Aaron B — 23 Mar 2013
I still cry every time I see it. A beautiful film based on an even more beautiful (my favorite piece of writing outside of the works of Shakespeare) book. Even Kevin Costner's deadly acting can't ruin this film.
James Earl Jones is transcendant and Frank Whaley and Burt Lancaster deliver great performances. If you don't choke up at the end of this film...you either have father or no soul...its that simple.
