The best sports movie of all time. despite its fantasy and sillyness, this film still sets the bar very high for sports films. one of the best movies ever. Great movie about fathers, sons and life in general.
Burt Lancaster is great in a minor but critical role. One of the BEST baseball movies ever made. A little syrupy at times, but very good, on the whole. The conception is sentimental, but the storytelling remains assured and effective.
I loved it. Kevin Costner was so awesome in this Movie.
