Andrew Currie creates this exceptionally well crafted world where within Zombies are just a part of normal life. 30 Years after some still unknown alien radiation permeates the earth bringing the dead to life people have returned to a relative state of normalcy, except when people die they still come back to life as zombies.

The movie has a definite 50?s Lassie derived theme. The world Currie creates is very well though out to the smallest detail. To me the public service announcements stand out. The people in this world have learned to harness zombies via a control collar that dampens out their need for eating out the living.

Considered more dangerous are the 65+ crowd who live in a rest home which is actually the converted prison. The main plot centers on Timmy?s Fido. They are playing catch and an ornery old woman hits Fido?s collar, with her walker, deactivating it.

Fido in the zombie state kills her Timmy returns that night to cover up the problem decapitate the old lady?s corpse as all children are taught in elementary school in this world, however it is too late the old lady zombie kills someone else then there is an outbreak of zombies.

It is eventually contained by Timmy?s new neighbor Henry Cezerny the head of security for Zombco. Zombco, is pretty much the conglomerate that sets and enforces the laws and sells all the goods. In an absolute power corrupt absolutely type world, Cezerny main job is to first control the zombies and manufacture the truth in a way that lull society into a sense of safety.

Carrie-Anne Moss plays Timmy?s Mother i.e. June Cleaver with a snub Nose 38 and a can of gasoline to solve Timmy?s problem. The short fall in this movie is that Andrew Currie creates such a loving crafted world, and then the story however outlandish it is seems to not fill the world out.
