Review of Fido (2006) by Derek T — 31 Aug 2008
A deliciously witty hidden gem that plays like Pleasantville meets Lassie meets Dawn of the Dead. With tongue firmly in cheek, this Canadian production manages to take on conventions of several genres while making some social commentary and still making people laugh, if for no other reason than to see Billy Connolly grunt and struggle as a zombie.
Fido is a fantastically satirical movie.
