Review of Fido (2006) by Stephen S — 07 Sep 2008
This was just an okay movie. It's a nice take on the zombie film and had potential to be great, but it just didn't work for me. It's a parody of the 50s family and lifestyle and that sort of thing, but it got old pretty quick.
Dylan Baker can be a great actor, but here he just wasn't that entertaining. This reminds me of a film Psycho Beach Party, that parodied all of the 50s beach party films. That too tried too much to actually parody the films that it forgot to try to be funny.
Whatever, it's not awful, but it's not great.
