Wow this is an odd one.
This is easily my favorite zombie comedy, and I would recommend it to any fan of the genre. Think sequel to Night of the Living Dead where man wins against the zombie hoards and eventually domesticates them. That plus 50s, Lassie, slavery and a bit of necrophilia to boot.
