Review of Fido (2006) by Adam M — 29 Aug 2011
Great zombie comedy set in 1940/50's America. Instead of just killing zombies, Zomcom keeps them, controls them, and puts them into modern day society as braindead servants. And as an upstanding member of the public, you can choose to come back as a zombie when you die(I might do that myself, actually!).
When one zombie gets bought by a family, he seems to connect with the young boy of the family and becomes known as Fido. But when Fido attacks a member of the public, who also happens to be related to Zomcoms owner, the attack has to be kept quiet.
This isn't made easier when more and more unservanted(not an actual word, I know) appear and events point towards Fido. Billy Connelly is brilliant as the zombie/pet of the title and this is just an enjoyable, funny watch all round.
A must for zombie fans.
