Review of Fido (2006) by John A — 17 Feb 2012
Billy Connolly Steals The Show As Fido, A Domesticated Zombie With A Heart In This Smart Horror Comedy Drama. It's 1950's America & After The Great Zombie War, ZOMCON Has Found A Way To Make Zombie Domesticated.
The Story Revolves Around A Young Boy, Timmy Robinson Whose Best Friend Is Fido, A Six-Foot-Tall Rotting Zombie. His Problem Fido Has Just Killed The Next Door Neighbour, Timmy Now Has To Keep Fido As A Part Of His Family.
This Is A Boy & His Dog Story For Grown Ups, And Just Works Marvelous As A Heartwarming Drama Better Than It Does A Horror Or Comedy. I'm Not Much Of A Zombie Fan And I Loved This, & I Don't See How A Dedicated Zombie Fan Would Disagree, Fido Is Just An Excellent Film.
I Say It Would Suit Comedy Lovers, Horror Lovers & Drama Lovers.
