Review of Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) by Brian W — 30 May 2012
The definition of a teenage comedy, Ferris Bueller's Day Off takes the cake. It is almost a feeling of nostalgia when you watch this film, even though it is over 13 years old. Matthew Broderick really relates to almost every teen out their who always wanted to play hooky for the day.
His charm and charisma are the two things that make this movie really come to life. Unlike many other films that have tried desperately to be as successful as Ferris Bueller's Day Off. So when the first day of school comes around in September just remember to watch this movie.
It always gave me a sliver of hope in the face of a long grueling school year.
