A fun meta film by John Hughes. This film seems to be a critique of his other films, pulling them apart and picking out their major themes and then playing off them and analyzing them with Ferris as the penultimate Hughesian teenager and Cameron the outsider who sees the insanity of it all.
It is easily the best John Hughes movie and one of the most mature of his movies outside of The Breakfast Club.
