Review of FernGully: The Last Rainforest (1992) by Elisa L — 10 Oct 2008
The animation is good, with rich colors and gorgeous visuals of the forest. The characters are well designed and funny, Robin Williams as the aptly named Batty being the most hilarious. The music is nice, too, with modern rhythms that mix well with the fast pace of the movie.
My favorite of the film was the Goanna lizard singing "If I'm Goanna Eat Somebody, It Might as Well Be You." I first saw FernGully as a kid and loved it, its an eco-friendly fairytale that I still enjoy to this very day.
Not a classic but still enchanting none the less.
