Taking an 80 year old Children's book that can be read in 5 minutes and expanding it into an hour and 40 minutes is no easy feat. Ferdinand delivers with something for viewers of every age. With an unexpected ending that makes you want to both laugh and cry, this movie does not disappoint.
The run time is a little long for the younger set (kids 3 and under) and the use of the word "butt" is rampant throughout the picture, "but" overall...a great little family film.
