I am not one to review movies but this one I had to review this is one I had to say something about. I like so many others have seen Denzel Washington in a myriad of movies I have seen great performances I have seen not so great performances I have seen performances where I thought.
he should've been nominated for some sort of an award. Be it an Academy Award,Golden Globe or whatever he either was never nominated or was nominated for the wrong movie. Fences, this is a game changer, this is different.
I can honestly say this is probably one of the finest performances I have ever seen and the actor in Denzel Washington and fortunately I set the bar so high even for him so that I find it hard to believe he could duplicate the performance that I saw it Fences today I can only describe this movie his performance Violet Davis's performance and all of the supporting character actors performances as being extraordinary. Moreover his directorial debut is second to none. If you leave out of the theater not moved or mesmerized by this cinematic masterpiece there must be something wrong with you.
