Aside from the brilliant script Denzel Washington give a masterclass in acting in an Oscar deserving, career best performance. I was rooting for Casey Affleck till I saw this. Denzel's perforce is head and shoulders above.
Viola David will win best supporting actress too but she ought to have been in best lead and would have destroyed Emma Stone. Surely!
