Review of Fences (2016) by Foldermath — 24 Jun 2017
A much more enjoyable movie than expected, for me. While there is never a decent shot of the wooden fence that he builds around his house, I felt like I didn't really need it. Viola Davis and Denzel Washington are amazing as usual, and Gabriel's character was well done.
The music fit the nature of the movie, so that was nice. It's good to see true, gritty reality after watching so many movies like Doctor Strange and Wonder Woman.
