Review of Femme Fatale (2002) by Oskar K — 14 Oct 2012
Femme Fatale is a masterpiece and DePalmas best film by far. It is a very enjoyable and rewarding experience to sit through. It actually gets even better on repeated viewings because you notice subtle things that you weren't paying attention to the first time around.
Dreamlike and playful, Femme Fatale is one of the best film-noirs ever made. The flow of the film is perfect and the score by Ryûichi Sakamoto is pure genious. Films like Femme Fatale are the reason I love cinema as an art form.
