Review of Female Prisoner #701: Scorpion (1972) by Joshua C — 05 Jun 2007

Let me just point out, right off the bat: Unless you are a fan of (or at least interested in) exploitation films, you will not like this movie. Disclaimer aside, I LOVE this movie. It's a perfect example of the genre.

Again, vengeance flick, therefore Joshua likes. This movie is also border line arthouse at times, which gives off a very theatrical and surreal feel to it at times. Cinematography wise it's great.

.. there is a 3 minute bit where "Urami Bushi" is playing that is to die for: it looks so cool! *end nerd rant* If you ever have any interest in the exploitation cinema of the 70's (especially foreign) watch this now.
