Review of Feast of Love (2007) by Adrian H — 04 Feb 2009
Feast of Love is a brilliant and beautiful romantic comedy with superb performances from Billy Burke, Radha Mitchell, Selma Blair, Greg Kinnear, and Morgan Freeman. Burke and Mitchell are definitely the standouts here, they have phenomenal chemistry and deliver wonderful performances.
Alexa Davalos and Toby Hemingway are also sensational. Director Robert Benton has crafted a masterwork. Feast of Love is smart, funny, romantic, and highly compelling. The script is brilliant, the performances are incredible, and Benton's direction is flawless.
Feast of Love is a classic. I love everything about this film. Billy Burke is a very underrated actor and is clearly capable of nearly anything. Feast of Love is a wonderful, delightful, charming, and powerful film.
An exceptional achievement. This is a magnificent comedy. A genius film...
