I like this story most is she know her bf will die soon, but she didn't run away. On the contrast, she stay and actively move forward. This kind of love-face the fate without fear; Cherish the moment get together than accompany for the whole life.
That's very romantic and encouraged. It is critical thinking against asking someone to give permanent commitment.
