Review of Feast (2005) by Nick R — 06 Jun 2008
Ok, horror is my favorite genre. And this has become my favorite horror movie. Not only because of the wall-to-wall gore, but because from beginning to end...there is MAYBE 7 total minutes of downtime.
And by down time, I mean a general lull or gap in the action. And lets not even look at the strange cast and crew. You have Wes Craven, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon as notables on the crew. Then you have Eric Dane (doctor on Grey's Anatomy), Krista Allen (Emmanuelle in Space), Balthazar Getty (.
..well thats just a cool name, I confuse him with Liev Shriver a lot though), Jason Mewes (JAY and Silent Bob). This film was the one made during season 3 of Bravo's "Project Greenlight".
I can watch this movie over and over. And I truly think that the reason for that is because of all the action. Like I said, about 7 minutes of nothingness in an 88 minute film. Oh, and I almost forgot.
..Henry Rollins is in this too (Dead End 2). I think the bartender is also a popular genre actor...Clu Galager or something.
