Horror-comedy is not my favorite genre so I should disqualify myself up front. that said, the film has a few clever moments and some decent gross-outs but ultimately seems pretty lazy - the characters are obviously types, and are introduced as such as they appear, so there is really no reason to like or root for any of them, and the monsters are completely generic so there really isn't much to enjoy there either.
add to that the ending that feels way too easy and you have a movie that doesn't really have much reason to exist, because there just isn't enough of anything to really enjoy it.
