Review of Feast (2005) by Aaron T — 12 Aug 2009
I have seen this film before, but after seeing the Project Greenlight season about it, I have a new found appreciation for it.
This was a long-shot script that was made way better than it may have otherwise been by a first-time director who struggled through every step of the process.
The movie is all that it really needs to be: fast-paced, unpredictable, gory, and funny. The overall style is campy, but it never lets itself get too bogged down by horror cliches.
