You don't see too many of these anymore. The somewhat more traditional eastern story of martial artist from the beginning to the end of their life. The plot points transition not only time but he character himself through multiple life changes.
The choreography doesn't leave too much of a memorable mark but it's enough to give credit for. Stands alone as a decent martial arts film.
