The best jet li film i've ever seen. it tells the tale of huo yuan jia and how he changed the face of kung fu. it's brilliantly made and jet li was impeccable in his role, no one else could have played it but him.
in my opinion, this movie should be the standard that all wuxia filmmakers should look to. it's just too bad that it didn't get enough praise and attention compared to crouching tiger, hidden dragon and other such movies that were highly regarded worldwide.
