Predictable story coupled with really questionable acting. I find Jet Li's screechy voice to be a constant annoyance and the acting by almost all the actors are stiff to say the least. Its interlude in the middle is also a little out of nowhere, it merely plays into the mundane story.
Like many Chinese films nowadays, Fearless is a visual spectacle, but it has so much more to be desired. However, the premise behind and its tribute to such a historical figure should still be applauded.
