A film that left me speechless, sitting in my seat long after the slow fugue of henryk górecki's incredible symphony no. 3 ended. peter weir's story of a man who comes to terms with his imminent death and then survives and cannot live again.
jeff bridge's finest role. the final scenes among the greatest 10 minutes on celluloid.
