Review of Fearless (1993) by Brian S — 02 Oct 2010
An outstanding underrated drama from the great Peter Weir. Jeff Bridges plays a man who stared death so hard in the face that he forgot to take time to celebrate when he defeated it. on the one hand, he's incredibly admirable because he rediscovers his lust for life and his appreciation for the small things.
on the other hand, he seems to forget and neglect the small things he already knows, like a loving wife and child. a fantastically rich character study with great cinematography and a truly moving ending.
