Review of FearDotCom (2002) by Kari S — 15 Apr 2008

I usually do my best to finish the movies I watch no matter how awful they are because of the obvious reasons but this one forced me to make an exception. I only watched about half of it and had enough.

I didn't hate it, I doubt it would have been the worst movie I've ever seen or even the worst in the genre but after spending an hour watching the film it became rather obvious it wouldn't make my night any more thrilling, it wouldn't entertain me or it wouldn't contribute anything at all to my life so I just gave up.

The acting ranged from bad to mediocre, the directing was quite poor (surprisingly enough it reminded me of the b horror tv-shows which seems to be what the director has been doing before the movie) and the plot seemed rather stupid and I fear it would have gone even worse towards the end (which was one of the main reasons why I got the idea to actually stop watching).

I could come up with a couple of mildly positive things but I won't mention them here because I encourage everyone to not watch this. It's simply not worth the effort. I'm sure there's another movie you haven't watched even though you've been meaning to do so for a while already.
