Review of FearDotCom (2002) by Michael M — 13 Jun 2009

I blame the screenplay for making this film very, very bad. I did enjoy some of the incoherent crap that was coming out of the film because it made the direction stand out. The actors weren't good, they were plain bad.

Now not everything in this film was a total lost. I did mention the direction. The images were pretty disturbing to look at and even made the film slightly watchable because of THAT alone. The music heightened the tension, even when there wasn't any and it created a sense of dread.

At times I felt like I was watching someone's nightmare come to life. I think the best way to view this film is by not paying, I REPEAT, NOT PAYING any attention to the dialogue because none of it makes sense.
