Review of Fear Street: 1978 (2021) by Injureddriver — 13 Sep 2021
Of course the critics like this one less than part one, it doesn't have the woke stuff in it! It's about on par with the first one but the characters are a little less annoying and the dialog is a little more believable.
Still got that glossy Neflix production to it, still pretty poor writing. The film spoils itself in the first ten minutes and tells you flat out that one of the main characters is going to die, thus removing any suspense and emotion for the final scene.
The rest was pretty predictable as well. I didn't dislike it as much as the first one, but still not great. It's probably more of a 3.5/10 for me.
