A romance which charts an unlikely affair between a German cleaning woman and an Arab man half her age. I saw this Fassbinder-movie the first time in 1975 and it captured my heart. Astonishly the story is still up-to-date now, more than 30 years later.
Brigitte Mira, one of Germany`s best actresses, past away last year. Fassbinder died young, but he made a lot of movies; this one is one of my favourites.
