Review of Fear, Anxiety and Depression (1989) by Meagan F — 29 Jul 2007
While Solondz is fine as an actor in this film, I think he does well to limit his input to behind the camera, staving off any possible Woody Allen comparisons. You can see the beginnings of his awkward, embarrassing style in this film, but he makes you uncomfortable in more sophisticated ways in later projects.
