Review of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) by Ryancarroll88 — 26 Aug 2010
A surprisingly accurate adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson's odyssey of self-revelation, self-destruction and the American Dream. In fact, I'd say the movie is better than the book because Gilliam's visuals gives a sensory overload that really packs the in(s)anity into form.
Thankfully, the hilarious antics of Depp and del Toro really follow suit.
