It may fascinate certain viewers who are into it's subject matter, but others may find the film to be tedious, repetitive, pointless, etc... It benefits from a fine set of performances by Depp and Del Toro, but it is such an aimless film, and the whole movie just feels like it's sputtering around, trying it's hardest to be interesting and engaging until the credits roll.
