Review of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) by Matthew S — 10 Apr 2015
The critics really missed the boat on this film. This is an exceptional adaptation of Hunter S. Thompson. Its perverse glee and surrealistic turns make it a unique and visionary depictions of US history: Paranoid, troubled and dangerous to know.
A brilliant film in every way. This remains Johnny Depp's finest work thus far.
