Review of Father Stu (2022) by Voodoo123 — 28 Oct 2022
This was an entertaining and some times quite touching dramedy. The decent screenplay drives it's talented cast through a sepia toned handheld camera style of cinematography with whalbergs trademark 'gangsta sassiness' as the centrepiece.
Ultimately there's nothing particularly original here given the huge wealth of dramas with similar beats to it. The real movie would've been just Gibson and whalberg in a room for a couple hours. Nevermind! Worth a watch but few surprises.
