Review of Fatal Attraction (1987) by Christopher G — 31 Mar 2009
Mesmerizing performance by Glenn Close. Anne Archer and Michael Douglas are superb. The original ending is better suited than the hollywood ending (see it it's interesting), but it works fine as is.
You can obviously feel bad for Douglas's character but really it can be seen from Glenn Close's POV. I love the subtlety in Close's performance and Michael Douglass' role as the average husband is brilliantly done.
They both have such a chemistry and they really prepared for their roles, and it shows. Simple story with twists and shocks. Great freakin movie.
