Review of Fatal Attraction (1987) by Julius N — 03 Oct 2010
This is one of the movies that shows the acting skills of Michael Douglas. Lust was followed by guilt and terror. Looking at his wife and daughter, he was reminded of the treasure he had and how he betrayed it.
Watching this thriller, I couldn't help but wonder, what if his one-night stand was not a psycho? Would he give up on her?
In a way, the story line is quite simple. It does not capture the complications in real life. But again, this is a movie for a Saturday night, not one leaving many ponder about love.
