Review of Fatal Attraction (1987) by Warren S — 08 Nov 2010
Another film I had to watch for a class on communication and gender. I didn't really think this was all that great, but it was pretty good. Most of this movie are really slow and plodding, but the third act definitely brings the tension and suspense to a boil (no pun intended).
Michael Douglas and Glenn Close are both pretty good in it. What is interesting is the moral aspect of it. Who is more at fault: Alex for going psycho and not letting him go, or Dan for getting into an affair in the first place and planning on forgetting her a few days later? It makes you think.
But anyways, not a bad film, could be better, check it out if you feel like it.
