My mother made me and my brother watch this and there was a Point. It's increasingly scary and disturbing towards the end. I'm sort of annoyed and put off by this kind of movie taking a whatever-from-hell premise and running with it.
When it comes to horror I prefer stylish Italian flicks, or vampires, or something. At the tender age of 12 or so I was certainly engaged by this mistress-from-hell story, but I didn't like it. Either it's rather too sensationalist for me, or I've simply formed a bad association.
