Review of Fatal Attraction (1987) by Jason L — 03 May 2014
In leu of seeing the FATAL ATTRACTION stage play, I went back to watch the film for guidance and even after all these years, it still does leave a chill through me. It has influenced TONS of films in his wake and parodies (family guy) but it still holds true and how Glenn Close never got the Oscar for this (or ANY role she has done) is beyond me? Parts of it may be dated and hokey but it still sends the right message. Could this be made today? No. Should they try and remake this today? Hells no!
Still a vital picture in the revenge sub-genre and a lesson to all.
Although, watching it has put me in the mood for some rabbit stew...
