Review of Fat Head (2009) by Monica S — 10 Mar 2011
Not the best made documentary, but lots of good info and solid science, facts and figures (almost too much near the end actually). Confirmed some of my beliefs about foods and diets, and learned some new things as well about the government propoganda that has happened behind the scenes.
Will be researching my foods even more. I will be adding my 2% milk back in my diet, not feel bad about using butter and eating the animal fats my body needs (not that I felt bad before). Our bodies obviously need the animal fats, along with fresh foods and vegetables, unlike the breads, whole wheats, starches, and carbs in general we've been told is so good for us- kicking my morning cereals to the curb! This definitely has me thinking of tweaking my diet, but for the most part knew I didn't eat bad to begin with.
Came down to the following: Our body needs: Animal fat + Vegetables + Fruits + Excercise + minimum carbs = good health. And everything in moderation of course.
