Review of Fat Girl (2001) by Scott P — 11 Oct 2008

Sucks. Had to watch this film for my Psychology of Women class. You seriously have to be a stuck up frenchie or a stuck up neo-feminist to get any kind of enjoyment out of this film. Either way if you enjoy this movie you are stuck up.

My primary complaint about this movie is that NONE of the characters are likable. If 1 of the characters was likable, this film might have actually been good. In addition, the score was lacking and horrible, the highway scenes near the end made me anticipate a "Final Destination 2 ending" with it's random and pointless buildup around the semis and the film was redundant.

We get it. Hot sister is bitch and fat sister is a moron. In addition, a windshield would not break like the one in this film does! Maybe the french build their cars with shitty housing window glass but I doubt that.

This film sucked, period. Only good thing is that the acting was technically good, however that amounts to nothing at all when you hate all the characters and want to shoot yourself for watching this french piece of trash.

I have never seen a french film I've ever liked. Fat Girl, Alien Resurrection, Shoot the Piano Player, Pépé le Moko and probably 5 other pieces of shit, they all suck. But more importantly, FUCK THIS MOVIE and FUCK the Feminist director with a grudge up her ass.
