Review of Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965) by Jeremy B — 19 Mar 2008
Viewed 3/18. Three hotrodding vixens do battle in the desert with a pair of straights and a family of dysfunctional recluses. Director Russ Meyer is so focused on this scenario that the surrounding world is barely sketched in, and the conflict consequently takes on a weirdly Platonic or iconic quality.
Sex plus violence filtered through a lens of otherworldly minimalism? Bizarre.
