One of the best movies ever. No symbolism, no socially-redeeming values, no subtext, just pure entertaining trash. Three hot go-go dancers go on a rampage of murder and kidnapping. Why? Just for the hell of it, apparently.
The acting, the dialogue, the entire premise...all ridiculous. But somehow director Russ Meyer makes it work. This film was an obvious influence on Quentin Tarantino, and I hear he is working on a remake.
I hope not...the original is perfect just as it is. A remake can only be a cheap imitation. C'mon Tarantino...find something original to do.
