If this film is not a sign of how good an actor Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) can be & should be, Then I don't know what will be. He played the part well in a very good (if somewhat predictable ending) film.
There is a distinct lack of quality action film stars. He shows here he could help with that. Forget the typical kiddy film buyout rubbish and concentrate on what your fans want & would pay to see! Fantastic return to form :D.
