Review of Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) by Matt E — 10 Mar 2009
Don't let the rating decieve you, this movie is not that good. It's not even average. This would be a throwaway movie if it were not for the comedic brilliance of Sean Penn's performance. He's not the main character, he should've been.
The rest is whiny, preachy, despite some ballsy risks dealing with sexuality. You have to watch it to see Penn in top comic form, but the rest is really quite useless.
