Review of Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) by Michael Y — 02 May 2009
My favorite American high school/teen movie which was set in the late 70's-early '80s. Very good cast with a young Sean Penn, Phoebe Cates, Forest Whitaker, and Nicolas Cage. Also liked the Mr. Hand character as portrayed by Ray Walston.
Seeing Adventureland recently reminded me of this film as both deal with a similar time period and similar high-school type/summer jobs and love affairs.
