A pretty descent teen film if it is compared to today's teen flick. i've seen tons of coming of age movies and fast times made it to be an enjoyable one. the ensemble casts and the debut to stardom of sean penn and forest whitaker.
phoebe cates and jennifer leigh did their job well, and the swimming pool scene of cates is an epic.
