Review of Fast Food Nation (2006) by Lauren H — 15 Mar 2008
So I guess with this, they took the interesting facts from the book, created a story (or, like, 592 stories) and using fact + fiction = film, bingo, movie. You'd think it would be easy but it's not, the stories kind of end without any real ending, Greg Kinnear disappears about halfway through and nothing is ever solved.
The most interesting bits in the movie come from the facts about fast food - which you can read in the book without having to watch silly empty plots developing and quickly fizzling all around you.
